What was your embarrassing moment in front of your father-in-law as an Indian daughter-in-law?

We went to drop my husband's sister at the airport. Came back at 5 am. Decided to sleep at 5:30 and begin work slightly later than usual. My father in law barged into our room at 11 am screaming at my husband saying "why cant you wake up on time" and mind you, it was a loud scream and he just entered without knocking. Thankfully I was under my sheets and not just in the skimpy nighty/ nightsuit. He screamed and my husband had had an argument with him. I pretended to keep sleeping because i didn't even want to look at his face. Do note that my husband was almost cudding me at that time. Awkward as fuck. Can't get it out of my head. Don't know how to react and what to feel.
